DESCRIPTION:ASUK is very excited to announce that the next ASUK family gathering will take place in Birmingham on Saturday 19th October 2019. \nASUK are planning a family event to bring us all together; for a day full of information and updates\, accessible product demonstrations and interactive workshops.  This will be followed in the evening by time to reconnect and catch up with old friends and maybe even make new ones over dinner. \nThe event will take place at the Holiday Inn\, hotel M6\, Junction 7 as the name suggests it is close to the motorway so gives easy access for those travelling by car and is close by to the city centre for those using the train or plane! SUMMARY:ASUK Family and Professional Conference
DESCRIPTION:We warmly invite you to our ‘Health\, Happiness and Wellbeing’ conference taking place on the 6th and 7th October 2017 at the Aston Conference Centre in Birmingham. The conference will begin with a research and scientific symposium from 1:30 pm on Friday 6th October and will conclude after an evening of entertainment and celebrations on Saturday 7th October 2017. \nThe event aims to bring together families\, individuals and professionals to learn more about this ultra-rare condition. This is a unique opportunity to hear about pioneering research and clinical developments\, take part in interactive workshops and learn from each other’s experiences; as well as meeting up with other families and friends. \nWe’re delighted that Dr Pietro Maffei from AS Italy and Professor Colin Johnson from the Institute of Molecular Medicine at St James’s University Hospital\, have agreed to speak about their current research and clinical developments. \nThe AS teams from Birmingham Children’s Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital will also be presenting about clinical developments\, the progression of research and clinical trial findings. \nMeanwhile to book onto the conference please complete the booking form here.
