ASUK is very excited to announce that the next ASUK family gathering will take place in Birmingham on Saturday 19th October 2019. 

ASUK are planning a family event to bring us all together; for a day full of information and updates, accessible product demonstrations and interactive workshops.  This will be followed in the evening by time to reconnect and catch up with old friends and maybe even make new ones over dinner.

Whilst we get stuck into planning the event, we’d love for you to share your thoughts with us about what you would like to see or do.

Are there any organisations you would like to see showcasing their services or products, such as Guide Dogs for the Blind or technology companies such as Apple or Orcam?

The event will take place at the Holiday Inn, hotel M6, Junction 7 as the name suggests it is close to the motorway so gives easy access for those travelling by car and is close by to the city centre for those using the train or plane! It is a beautiful venue set in 7 acres of land, with plenty of space inside and out and includes a swimming pool and gym.

If you need accommodation on the Friday and/or Saturday, the Holiday Inn M6, Junction 7 have offered an early bird rate of £65.00 per room, per night on a B&B basis, family rooms and accessible rooms are available (rooms sleep 2 adults and 2 children) but these rooms are limited so please contact the hotel on 01604 931504 and choose option 1 for reservations, quoting AL1 – Alström Syndrome UK to ensure you get the early bird rate.
