Keeping your mind and body healthy

Do you want to share your top tips for how you are keeping healthy indoors or do you have questions and queries about how to actually do this?

Well, Alstrom Syndrome UK will be running their next virtual get together for families to look at how to keep your mind and body healthy whilst you remain indoors.
The specialist teams including the Psychologist, Dietitian and Physiotherapist from Birmingham Children’s Hospital will be available to give their top tips and answer your questions and queries.

Everyone is welcome no matter your age!
It would be great to hear how you are keeping fit and healthy whilst staying at home or the challenges you are facing. Let’s face these as a community together.
The teams will be available to offer ideas on healthy choices, exercise and wellbeing and also answer any burning questions you may have. If you can send these questions and queries beforehand to Marie McGee her email address is

Here are some top tips to try and help this virtual get together run smoothly:

  1. Please join us at 1:45 pm, so we can sort any technical difficulties before the webinar begins
  2. Please don’t call or join the meeting after 2pm
  3. We will be able to mute all participants, so please don’t worry about this
  4. We will go through the questions previously sent into us from families
  5. The first part of the session, will be an introduction to the teams involved and their top tips and useful information
  6. In the second part of the session there will be an opportunity to ask questions and share some top tips on how you stay fit and healthy.
