🌟 A Day to Remember at the ASUK Family Festival 2026!

On Saturday the 11th July 2026, we were delighted to welcome an incredible 90 children, adults, families, professionals, volunteers and supporters to our ASUK Family Festival at New College Worcester for a day filled with fun, friendship and new experiences.

Our Family Festival is all about bringing the Alström Syndrome community together, providing opportunities to connect with others who truly understand the challenges of living with a rare condition, while encouraging everyone to discover new sports, activities and experiences in a welcoming and supportive environment.

This incredible event certainly didn’t disappoint!

From swimming, archery, judo and gym sessions to animal encounters, go-karts, giant inflatables, mini golf, crafts, ponies and our beautiful Family Tree, there was something for everyone to enjoy. One of the highlights of the day was seeing children and adults of all ages stepping outside their comfort zones, trying something new and encouraging one another every step of the way.

More importantly, it was wonderful to see so many smiles, hear so much laughter and watch new friendships being made throughout the day. Seeing families reconnect, professionals chatting with families in an informal setting and everyone supporting one another is exactly what makes our Family Festival so special.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, trustees, professionals, activity providers and everyone behind the scenes who gave their time to make the day such a success. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to New College Worcester for once again providing such fantastic facilities and helping us create such a welcoming environment for our community.
