Alström Syndrome UK Achieves PIF TICK Quality Mark for Trusted Health Information

We are delighted to announce that Alström Syndrome UK has achieved the PIF TICK trust mark, the UK-wide Quality Mark for trusted health information.

The PIF TICK, developed by the Patient Information Forum (PIF), is awarded to organisations that meet strict standards for producing health information that is:

  • Evidence-based
  • Clear and accessible
  • Up to date
  • Developed using reliable processes
  • Designed to support people in making informed decisions about their health and care

Achieving the PIF TICK demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, trustworthy information and support for individuals diagnosed with Alström Syndrome, their families, carers, and professionals.

At Alström Syndrome UK, we understand how important it is for people living with a rare condition to have access to accurate and reliable information. This recognition reflects the care, collaboration, and dedication that goes into developing our resources and support materials.

We are incredibly proud to join a community of organisations across the UK who are committed to improving the quality of health information available to patients and families.

We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this achievement and continues to support our work.
