Prof. Tim Barrett is the Paediatric Clinical Lead for the Alström Service at Birmingham Children's Hospital and a Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Birmingham, Honorary Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, and Programme  Director for the Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Tim has been involved in delivering the AS clinical service for many years and has a wealth of knowledge, expertise and experience of this ultra-rare complex condition.
